Jane & Roq: Sweetness Personified! (Intramuros Shoot)

Inspiration is quite difficult to find when the weather isn't cooperating, but with the right couple, even the heavens will open up and help in making a shoot a most memorable one. Jane & Roq is sweetness personified, all natural and wonderful. As an artist, it is swell to have subjects who don't need direction except for being themselves. This Intramuros shoot, though bothered a bit by some rains turned AWESOME! Thanks to our couple for showing everyone what sweetness is all about. (Images by Ey)...more to come!

For A Change...Wakeboarding in Sta Rosa!

It's great to be shooting something different from an event, one that will actually make you think on how you would want to "tell the story." Well, that is where I found myself when I visited the Nuvali Republic Wave Park in Sta Rosa, Laguna. How the heck do I capture the place in one image??? Hmmmmm,...after a moment of contemplation, this is how i captured the park. Hope you like it!!!

3 Portraits in 15 Minutes (Thanks to Fred, Kim & Paula!)

In a short span of time, I was able to capture these images with the tremendous help of Fred, Kim and Paula. Yes, a photo shoot or a portrait session is always a collaboration between the subject(s) and the photographer. It would never be a success without the help of the other. We put them in a good situation (where glorious light is flowing in and they are comfortable), and we make them enjoy the moment (whether they laugh or not is totally dependent on them; we just want to capture them for who they truly are). We never ever forget to thank our lovely subjects after every shoot, or event. Enjoy the week, everyone!!!
