Estancia Fishport (another adventure...)

From the airport in Roxas, we had to travel approximately 100+ kms. to reach Estancia, Iloilo. The province is well known for their fresh seafood and what better way to start the day than to capture the essence of what the place is all about: fishing! It was a blessing that the downpour that started at midnight turned into glorious sunshine once we reached the fish port. From these images, you can feel how it is to be there at the center of daily life in the town.

Iloilo Celebration (adventures, sort of...)

The Sped team flew to Roxas City last weekend (via Cebu Pac, and yes we didn't fly like the feared mythical creature in Capiz, the "Manananggal" which we passed by on our way to Iloilo...definitely to Floyd's delight!) to cover Fred and Jasymin's wedding. A rehearsal was scheduled, and it was a good opportunity for us to experience the Church and the main participants of the ceremony. But like what they say when there's a full moon, and you are near the Province of Capiz, a lot of unusual things can happen. More to come...
